As players progress through the reputation system, attaining additional rankings, rewards will become unlocked. The following chart details the rewards per Iron Banner Rank.
Tempering is a buff that increases the reputation you have gained by a greater amount as the week progresses. As seen in the table on the bottom, in the beginning of the week (Tuesday), the tempering buff gives you 10% bonus reputation but by the end of the week (Monday) you recieve a 150% increase. This means that a single victory on Tuesday will net 55 reputation, while a single victory on Monday will net 125. The tempering buff also stacks with the bonus you get from having the Iron Banner shaders/emblems/class items equipped. Previously, the Tempering buff was purchased from Lord Saladin for Motes of Light and lasted 12 hours, but with The Taken King the buff is automatically be applied.
